Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev presented "Play Like s1mple" - a comprehensive educational program aimed at developing skills in Counter-Strike 2.
As part of "Play Like s1mple," participants will have access to more than 60 interactive video sessions focused on in-game tactics and career development.
I see how many mistakes players make and I think this is a great opportunity for them to learn from me and other professionals
The project was inspired by s1mple's brother and friends, who wanted to create an educational series akin to Masterclass. Features include participation in tournaments, personal interaction with s1mple, and a community of like-minded enthusiasts. Content will be pre-recorded, ensuring quality and accessibility.
s1mple, a well-known player in cybersports, recognized as the best CS:GO player in 2018, 2021, and 2022, has been on the bench at NAVI since October 2023 with the exception of a brief stint with Team Falcons. Where he only played one officiated match, which they lost.
Despite this new endeavor, s1mple assured fans of his return to competition, emphasizing that he remains passionate about the game. "The break was great for focusing on a project, but I'm looking forward to getting back into cybersports," he said, hinting at a future expansion of the course with different players.
The partnership with FACEIT offers members access to FACEIT's premium features and exclusive content. An annual subscription costs around $100, and registration for a limited number of spots will open on May 13.
Ultimately, s1mple's goal is clear: "I want to see fewer bugs, more team play, and beautiful Counter-Strike."
