s1mple Preps Unique CS Masterclass, Inspired by FalleN's Games Academy

Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, on the NAVI bench, has been diligently crafting his version of a Counter-Strike "school." In a dialogue with Dust2 Brasil, s1mple disclosed that Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's Games Academy sparked inspiration, yet his project will chart a distinctive course.

He recounted learning about FalleN's venture, which spurred his own initiative, saying, "I heard about it and it was motivating because of FalleN, who was making lots of YouTube videos with tutorials around five or six years ago and it was really cool. But my project is quite different; there will be similarities but in general, it's different," he asserted.

His initiative, "PLAY LIKE S1MPLE," promises over 50 weekly video lessons and will grant access to an exclusive community on Discord, offering direct communication and gameplay sessions with s1mple himself. The launch is slated for early May.

s1mple aims to share his extensive CS experience to assist players of all levels. "It's basically helping every player, not just competitive ones, to reach a higher level and play better," he summarized succinctly.

Despite a vast team involved, many lessons will be personally delivered by s1mple. He plans to cover in-depth game understanding, such as reading opponents and making superior rotations, details often overlooked.

Taking advantage of his current free time, partly due to settling in Europe amid the war, s1mple is seizing the opportunity to focus on this educational project. "You don't have time to sit and explain things to people when you're constantly traveling and competing," he explained.

He believes this project could also aid top young talents like Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov. Reflecting on his own start in 2014, s1mple acknowledges that access to knowledge has vastly improved and hopes his course will support players in FPS decision-making across titles like Valorant and Rainbow Six.

Lastly, s1mple teased the possibility of including celebrities like Neymar Jr. in his course, hinting at potential collaborative sessions. His future plans remain centered around competing, with aspirations to return to playing AWP but retaining the flexibility to switch to rifles when needed.
