Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev shared his impressions of Counter-Strike 2 on his Twitter account. The Natus Vincere sniper advised everyone aspiring to become professional CS2 players not to rush but to wait for updates.
I can clearly tell that if you want to become CS2 pro you still have 3 months, don’t play this shit game rn, wait for updates
Counter-Strike 2 was released on September 27th, replacing the previous version of the game, CS:GO. Despite the full launch, CS2 still has many bugs and issues. Both casual and professional players complain about the game's raw appearance, leading Valve to release updates almost daily.
The first major tournament on CS2 is scheduled to be IEM Sydney 2023. It is planned for October 16th to 22nd and will have a prize pool of $250,000. Teams like Vitality, ENCE, G2, MOUZ and NAVI will participate in IEM Sydney 2023.
