Rumors: Fnatic are looking for a replacement instead of afro

According to insider Gromov on his Twitter, Fnatic has begun searching for a replacement for Aurélien "afro" Drapier in their roster. This decision was made following a series of unsatisfactory performances by the player, prompting the organization to reconsider their lineup.

Afro joined the Fnatic roster in July 2023, replacing the departed nicoodoz. However, after a year of play, he failed to meet their expectations. During his time with the team, his best result was first place at the RES Regional Series 1 Europe, earning the team $50,000 for their victory. In his last tournament for Fnatic at the FiReLEAGUE 2024 Global Finals, they finished second, losing to 9z in the final.

During his time with the organization, he earned $34,700 in tournaments, and his rating while with the team was 6.1. It is currently unknown who will replace him, but according to rumors from harumi, HooXi might join the team. HooXi recently left G2, where he was replaced by Polish player Snax. It is likely that HooXi will take on the role of captain, which would see the 27-year-old captain bodyy, who joined the team in November 2023, leave the roster.
