roeJ has ended his professional career as a CS player

Danish professional player Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen announced his retirement from esports at the age of 31. He had been competing on the professional scene since 2017 and reached the Legends stage at majors in CS four times.

roeJ began his professional career at the age of 23. His first major team was Copenhagen Flames, where he played from October 2018 to August 2019. In the same year, after leaving CPH Flames, he won the V4 Future Sports Festival with Tricked. In 2020, as part of MAD Lions, he became the champion of Flashpoint 1, earning $500,000 — the largest prize of his career.

He first reached the Legends stage at the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 with Copenhagen Flames. In 2022, he once again reached the quarterfinals at the PGL Major Antwerp 2022, and then repeated this result, playing for Fnatic at the IEM Rio Major 2022. With the same team, his last achievement was reaching the Legends stage at the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Throughout his career, Fredrik earned $326,663 in prize money.

After the disbandment of the Gaimin Gladiators roster on January 2, 2025, roeJ remained without a team and decided to retire. After leaving, Fredrik joined the talent agency UNCORE as a Talent & Partnerships Manager. In his new role, he will focus on talent development and facilitating partnership agreements.
