Every day new talent comes to CS:GO, bringing with them fresh ideas and styles that are revolutionizing the game. Right now, there are five young players on the horizon who are too late to peak in CS:GO, but they promise to tear Counter-Strike 2 apart.

These young stars are not just impressing with their individual skill and aim, but are also bringing their ideas and strategies to the classics of the CS:GO world. In this article, we will introduce you to five names that will be writing CS2 history very soon.

Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo

The young Finn, who just turned 17 this month is already playing at the core of MOUZ, a very high level team. Before that Jimpphat played for the academy of the German organization for more than a year and simply destroyed at that level. Thanks in large part to his performance MOUZ NXT were able to win WePlay Academy League Season 4 and CCT North Europe Series 5.

On the main roster, MOUZ Jimpphat switched to a more support role and gave space to David "frozen" Čerňanský and Dorian "xertioN" Berman. His stats sagged a bit because of this, but it was expected. Overall, a 5.8 rating for the first three months at the top level looks pretty good.

Artem "r1nkle" Moroz

The Ukrainian sniper has been on the radar of the CS:GO dash-3 scene for quite some time now. R1nkle is often put in various rankings of the best young talents. His skill and confidence sets him apart from all other players at this level. Therefore, it is even more surprising that Artem is only 18 years old.

R1nkle was even close to reaching the majors twice with his B8 team. First, they went 2-1 in the "Swiss" Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A. However, the team lost to Sprout and GamerLegion and left the qualifier. B8 next visited BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: European RMR A, where they had a 2-0 statistic but could not manage the advantage and lost three matches in a row. Despite these setbacks there should be no doubt in anyone's mind that r1nkle will one day play at a major.

Sodbayar "Techno" Munkhbold 

Techno is the only player in the rankings who has been playing consistently at major tournaments for a long time. At the same time, the Mongolian is not sagging at all at this level, but is showing mature and meaningful play. Over the last two years together IHC and TheMongolz Techno has attended two majors and four major LAN tournaments and has not failed at any of them. It would be interesting to see him in a powerful European team.

Lucas "nqz" Soarez

Nqz is considered one of the biggest talents in South America and has already confirmed this status many times. Together with 9z he went to the IEM Rio Major 2022 and even outplayed Imperial and Evil Geniuses there. For that tournament, nqz received a 5.9 rating, which is a pretty good start.

Since the beginning of the year, the Brazilian has been playing alongside Marcelo "coldzera" David. And we can see that during this period the sniper has grown significantly in his understanding of the game and now relies not only on his mechanical skills. In recent matches for Fake Natty, he has been proving his skills against good European teams like OG, who were defeated 2-0 by the Brazilians at the CCT Online Finals Series 3.

Mohammad "BOROS" Malhas

The Jordanian became known to the general public a few years ago when he received an invitation to FPLC and started surprising not only regular players but also professionals. Some even suspected that BOROS was using cheats. However, Mohammad never managed to get a hold of any stable team. With Endpoint he went to the PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B, which was a failure for him, after which he was transferred to the reserve.

Everything changed with a move to Monte, where BOROS was able to show his best game and helped the team reach the playoffs of BLAST.tv Major Paris 2023. After that, everyone started talking about him and rumors about the Jordanian's move to a more prominent club quickly started. And so it happened. BOROS is now playing for the Falcons, but it doesn't look like the change has had any effect on his ability to put in a header, he continues to be statistically the best player on the team.
