Riot Games released statistics for the new Team Deathmatch mode

Developers Riot Games have posted the first month's statistics for the new Team Deathmatch mode on their Twitter page.

What is Team Deathmatch?

Team Deathmatch is a new mode where two teams, 5 on 5, compete against each other on a small map to be the first to reach 100 kills. The mode is divided into 4 rounds, each featuring different weapons, with the weapons getting more powerful the closer the round is to the end of the game. The mode includes 3 maps, each offering different bonuses such as additional health regeneration, ult points, and weapons that are one level better than those in the current round.

Statistics of the new mode

In the new mode, the most used ult is Jett's, which has been successfully used a whopping 758,970 times, more than 49,000 times than Reyna, who is in second place. Raze, with more than 100,000 fewer uses, took the third spot.

Another published statistic is the number of matches played. More than 10 million and 300 thousand matches were played just in the first month.

During these matches, players were able to make almost 2 billion kills and used the weapons that appeared on the map 183 million times.

Based on these impressive statistics, it can be concluded that the game's fans have warmly received Team Deathmatch. This mode combines several positive aspects, such as a warm-up before the match, team competition - namely who will be the first to reach a hundred kills, fast-paced gameplay, and the fun it brings in playing with friends or even solo.
