Review of CS2 changes in 10 months and missing features

It's been ten months since the official release of Counter-Strike 2, which replaced CSGO, and it's a great reason to see what has been added to the game and what is still missing. It is with this message that ThourCS2 wrote a post, where he wrote everything that was added to the game and what is missing in his opinion.

Such a comparison is always relevant, because players often feel the lack of certain features. This allows you to understand what has already been improved, and what may appear in the future or, conversely, forever remain behind the scenes.

When Counter-Strike 2 came out, it brought with it a number of innovations such as volumetric smoke, sub-tick, leaderboards and CS rankings, an updated purchase menu and loadout system, grenade inspection and reworked audio. However, despite all the innovations, some features are still missing from the game. These include Overwatch (Patrol is rumored to be available only to “trusted individuals” but there has been no official announcement for everyone), “Danger Zone” and wargame modes, a community server browser, achievements, group tags before nicknames, and the r_cleardecals command for cleaning bullets and blood off maps.
