rain: "ESL Pro League Season 18 should be the last tournament in CS:GO"

In his latest interview, the player from the FaZe Clan team, Håvard "rain" Nygaard, made a prediction regarding the possible release date for CS2, or perhaps not a prediction at all.

rain:

Considering that all the maps have been released and the situation is rapidly improving, I have a feeling that ESL Pro League Season 18 will be the last tournament in CS:GO. After that, we will probably switch to CS2.

The only question remaining is whether the developers will be able to fix all the shortcomings that CS2 currently has.

EPL S18 takes place from August 30 to October 1. Teams are fighting for a prize pool of $850,000. The champion will also receive quotas for BLAST Premier: World Final 2023 and IEM Katowice 2024. You can track the schedule and results of the competition via the link.

And the next tier-1 tournament is Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023, which starts on October 16, 2023!

Rumors are going around that the developers have a strict deadline, namely September 28-29, 2023, but as for the reliability of this information, we can't say anything.
