rain about CS2: "Hopefully, things will get better"

FaZe Clan's CS:GO player, Håvard rain Nygaard, shared his experience with Counter-Strike 2. The Norwegian esports player hopes the developers will be able to fix all the shortcomings before the official release.

I’ve played it for about 6-10 hours. Overall it still feels a little bit clunky and not like a finished game. But I hope it will get better before the official release. I heard some rumors about the servers and it’s a little bit concerning if they haven’t upgraded to 128-tick servers.Hopefully, things will get better. I think they’re working really hard right now and are releasing updates left and right. So the finished product is probably going to be different from what we see now.

In the CS2 announcement, the developers stated that the official game release is planned for the summer of 2023. However, at the time of publishing, the game is still in closed beta testing. This might be related to the difference in how seasons are defined between the US and Europe. In the states, they prefer to go by the astronomical calendar where the beginning of autumn falls on September 23, the day of the autumnal equinox. Considering this, the shooter's release might happen in the next few days.
