PwnAlone has decided to take a break from competitive Counter-Strike

The professional Counter-Strike player known as PwnAlone has announced his decision to take a break from his competitive career. He shared his news in a recent post on the X platform after the completion of his BOSS team's participation in ESL Challenger League Season 47: North America.

Josh “PwnAlone” Pigue has played for teams such as Party Astronauts and Evil Geniuses White during his career, with his most recent team being BOSS, where he spent the last 4 months.

In his post, he wrote: “It's time for me to hang up my mouse on the competitive scene and try to move on to something new”

This decision came after a disappointing loss to Mythic in the ESL Challenger League playoffs, which ended their participation in the tournament. He played numerous matches at various levels of competition and became an important figure for many of his teams.

PwnAlone now plans to focus on content creation and streaming, hoping that his fans will support him in his new endeavor. He has also left open the possibility of returning to the professional game in the future or temporarily filling in for teams at tournaments and qualifiers
