Eight teams that will participate in the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Chinese Qualifier have been determined following the conclusion of the open qualifiers. These teams will compete for two spots in the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Asia-Pacific RMR.
The invited teams, who earned their spots through the Valve ranking, include Lynn Vision Gaming, TYLOO, NewHappy and Wings Up Gaming. They will be joined by Steel Helmet, Rare Atom, SHPL and HuiTuZhuanSheng, who successfully advanced from the open qualifiers that featured 3186 teams.
The qualifying tournament will be held online from January 19 to 21. It will use a double-elimination bracket format. All intermediate matches will be played in Best of 1 (Bo1) format, while elimination and playoff qualification matches will be in Best of 3 (Bo3) format.
The top two teams from this qualifier will compete for the right to represent the region at the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: Asia-Pacific RMR, scheduled to take place in Shanghai from February 26 to 28.
