PGL has banned another Russian team from the qualifiers for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024

The second open qualifier for PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 from the European region is in full swing. Generally, nothing new: movies, demos, and bans of Russian teams for cheating.

This is far from the first time Russian teams have been banned during various qualifiers for cheating. Surprisingly, PGL not only banned the team but also allowed other teams to replay matches against them.

Remember that yesterday PGL banned the team EC Kostroma. You can read more about this here. But today, supresse — a team with controversial players k1Nd and mo0N1836 (playing under the nickname d1xE) — has also been banned. Their full lineup was as follows:

  • wign
  • k1Nd
  • mo0N1836
  • tensh1n
  • diis6

Initially, the softers defeated the Ukrainian team Lazer Cats, but they managed to prove that their opponents played with cheats, and tomorrow they will play against Alliance in the 1/32 qualifiers.

And this is how Lazer Cats reacted to their return to the qualifier:

Crazy news! We're back for the second qualification tournament of PGL Major. We did everything possible to prove that the team supresse played unfairly in the qualifiers, and they were banned! AllianceGG, see you tomorrow at 13:30 Central European Time.
