Perfecto about life in Belgrade and his future in esports

24-year-old Ilya "Perfecto⁠" Zalutskiy, a support specialist, is currently on the Cloud9 bench since April, after a "mutual decision" to part ways with the team. Since then, he's been taking his time to find a new project. In early June, Perfecto was supporting his girlfriend working at YaLLa Compass in Abu Dhabi and gave an interview to HLTV where he shared what he's looking for in his next team.

Perfecto has been living in Belgrade for two years now, renting an apartment and finding it to be the right place for him. He notes that Belgrade has become something of a cybersports hub with low ping and a convenient location for traveling to tournaments. He has no plans to leave, as he actively plays FACEIT and appreciates the low ping, which is 20-25 in Serbia

After being benched, Perfecto continued to watch tournaments and demos, planning to return as a support player in the roles he had in NAVI: point B defender and lurker. He noted that he had mixed roles in Cloud9 and doesn't want to continue playing like that, preferring to return to his former roles.

As for the question of whether it was worth playing without a permanent sniper, Perfecto believes that the team tried to find their game and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. He emphasized that the classic sniper system is preferable, citing the successful example of Team Liquid with nitr0.

Perfecto clarified that his suspension was not a joint decision with HObbit, though it may seem otherwise due to the announcement, but the decisions were made a week and a half apart.

As for the possibility of playing for an international squad, Perfecto confirmed that he is considering the possibility. He said that he has already had some interesting offers and hopes to have more. Perfecto is in no hurry to choose a team, as he wants to join a squad where everyone will be happy and succeed.

So far Perfecto hasn't made a decision where he will go, but it's safe to say that there are several offers and we should expect news about Perfecto joining some of the line-ups.
