The Ukrainian esports organization Passion UA, founded by footballer Oleksandr Zinchenko, has announced major roster changes in their Counter-Strike 2 lineup. The club has benched Kvem, jackasmo, and DemQQ, effectively losing the core of the team that has been delivering results over the past few months.

We are ending our collaboration with the current team roster and thank each player for the journey, dedication, and moments they have given our fans! Kvem, jackasmo, and DemQQ remain with us, but on the bench. This is not the end of Passion UA’s story — it’s the beginning of a new chapter.

What is known about the rest of the roster

The fate of Woro2k and Topa is currently unknown. According to information on liquipedia.net, published on August 15, both players have also left the roster. As a result, Passion UA is currently left with only their coach T.c (Tiaan Coertzen), who joined in April 2025.

How this will affect competitions

Today, August 15, at 7:00 PM, the team was scheduled to play against NIP in the qualifiers for StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025, but the match is unlikely to take place due to the lack of an active roster.

Although the team showed inconsistent results in recent months, they managed to achieve several significant accomplishments:

However, a series of poor performances in qualifiers and early exits from tournaments deprived Passion UA of stability in rankings, which ultimately may have influenced the decision to disband the roster.
