The survival simulator Palworld has set the second-largest online player record in the history of the Steam platform. SteamDB shared this information and statistics.

As of January 23rd, the number of simultaneous players in Palworld reached over 1.864 million. This title from Pocketpair Studio had previously surpassed Dota 2's online record of 1.295 million gamers and has now surpassed Counter-Strike 2 with 1.818 million users. At the time of publication, Palworld holds the second position in online players, second only to PUBG, which has a peak online player count of 3.257 million.

Palworld was released in early access on January 19th and received positive reviews from Steam users. Among the game's features are the ability to collect and breed various creatures, construction, farming, and exploring an open world. The game also topped the Steam sales charts immediately after release.
