paiN Gaming is reportedly close to clinching a deal with João Vinícius "Snow" Bueno, the 17-year-old sensation from Case, to fill the spot left by Marcelo "nyezin" Ramos. According to Dust2 Brasil, negotiations have been progressing swiftly, with Snowzin showing keen interest in paiN's project, and the transfer now hinges on the final agreement between paiN and Case.
Since the launch of CS2, Snowzin has been a standout performer for Case, attracting the attention of numerous teams in the Brazilian and international esports scene. Wildcard was among the frontrunners for his signature, but prominent organizations like Fluxo and KaBuM also expressed interest in the young star.
Should the deal go through, Snowzin will replace nyezin, who was a temporary pick for the main roster following Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira's return to Sharks after a complex loan spell. With nyezin, paiN has shown formidable form, securing second place in the BetBoom Dacha qualifiers and the Esports World Cup. Notably, they clinched victory at the Global Esports Tour Rio held offline on LAN.
At just 17, Snowzin has been making waves in the competitive circuit since the age of 13, boasting stints with academy teams such as Sharks and GODSENT before joining Case in 2023. His potential addition to paiN Gaming is seen as a significant boost, slotting into a lineup that already shows promise:
paiN Gaming's lineup with Snowzin’s anticipated arrival spells a new chapter for the team, infusing young talent with established expertise. As the community awaits official confirmation, the Brazilian esports scene is abuzz with the potential impact Snowzin could have on paiN Gaming’s future endeavors.
