OG and Monte are on the verge of elimination from BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023

OG lost to Ninjas in Pajamas in the third round of the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 CS:GO Challengers stage. The result of the meeting at Mirage is 17:19. The next match for Nikola Niko Christensen's team may be the last in the championship.

NiP has 2:1 stats. In the fourth round, Aleksi Aleksib Vyrolainen's team will compete for entry to the Legends stage.

Fredrik REZ Sterner received the title of MVP of the match. He averaged 103.9 damage per round and got a K\D rate of 30\26.

In a parallel confrontation, FORZE shocked Monte. The match at Ancient ended with a score of 16:6. Andrey Jerry Mehryakov's team won 2:1.

Earlier in the tournament, Monte lost to FaZe Clan and defeated Fluxo. In the next round, Volodimir Woro2k Veletniuk's team will play for relegation. The opponent and the time of the meeting will be announced later.

Alexander Shalfey Marenov became the best player in the match. The athlete finished the match with an average of 110.3 damage per round and a K\D of 21\10.

Detailed statistics of the meeting are available here.

Monte loses quite simply. Ancient is a FORZE horse. Probably, Monte specially removed Nuke because they were confident in Ancient. However, it was clear from the game how much Monte's nerves were twisted. Monte is the third youngest team in the tournament, and the level of expectation in this fundamental match for the community is very high. From the moments of the game (given clutches, situations in the majority, even pace), they seemed unable to cope with the pressure. The absence of a coach may be the deciding factor, although in this match, even with Lamych [LMBT], it would be difficult, as the practice has shown.
Next, Monte must win 2 bo3 in a row to pass to the "legends." The task is not simple.
