Today, it was officially announced on the website of the Ukrainian organization Natus Vincere that Andrey "npl" Kukharsky is moving to the Ukrainian organization B8 on lease terms.
The organization Natus Vincere also left a comment on this matter, albeit a brief one:
We thank Andrey for his time at the club and wish him luck in his further career.
A significant factor in this transfer was that npl is moving to B8 on lease terms, and also with the right to purchase, which B8 may soon do.
After this transfer, the B8 team roster is now fully assembled and looks as follows:
How did npl perform for NAVI?
Andrey's journey to "born to win" started back in 2021 with their junior team, Natus Vincere Junior. Having won only one tournament - ROG #StandWithUkraine Cup Summer 2022, and also finishing 3rd in the WePlay Academy League Season 6, he moved to the main team in 2022.
Only two tournaments were mentioned because in all the other nine played by Andrey for the team, they finished in extremely poor places.
Already in 2022, he began training with NAVI, during all this time he managed to play only eight tournaments for the team. The total amount of prize money earned during this time reached $212,000!
The team's most significant achievements were:
- Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023 (3-4th place)
- ESL Pro League Season 17 (3-4th place)
- Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2023 (3-4th place)
However, the biggest disappointment for the black and yellow fans, of course, was the last CS:GO major - BLAST.tv Major Paris 2023.
The team started their journey with BLAST.tv Major Paris 2023: European RMR A, where they defeated all their opponents and moved further with a 3:0 score.
It was after the RMR that everyone started thinking that npl was a rising star of the tier-1 scene, as his rating was 6.8 for 4 maps! This is the best performance among his former teammates.
However, having reached the main stage of the major, npl completely failed his performance - his rating was 4.9. This rating is the third worst.
So that's how npl's performance with NAVI ended. It's still unknown what will happen next with the player, whether B8 will want to buy him out or even refuse the lease. It's also not yet known at which upcoming tournament we will be able to see the new B8 lineup in action.
