The European club G2 has confirmed that their star rifler will remain with the team. Despite lengthy negotiations with Falcons, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač did not sign a deal with the Saudis.

Later on Twitter, the pro player refuted rumors that he was negotiating with Falcons only to get a salary raise from G2, which supposedly would motivate him not to transfer. Analyst Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg believes that NiKo made the best decision, and that he will come out on top.

"We'll never know what happened behind the scenes, but NiKo just possibly made the best decision in this situation. 10/10 move"

With Kovač staying on the team, the transfer of Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov can also be forgotten – the young sniper has repeatedly expressed that he wants to play specifically with the legendary Bosnian.

Without such a high-caliber player, Falcons will need to spend more time searching for star esports athletes. This has already cost them a technical defeat in the ESL Challenger League. For now, we can only speculate about the trio of BOROS, Magisk, and Snappi, and who else might end up in the "super lineup" remains a mystery.
