Complexity has officially confirmed that hallzerk will not be able to participate in the major, and junior has been temporarily called up to take his place. This is not junior's first experience with Complexity — he played for the team in 2022, but at that time he couldn't realize his potential.
The reason for the substitution is hallzerk's visa issues, which have been troubling him for more than one tournament. Despite the organization's continuous efforts to resolve this matter, a solution was not reached before the start of the major. This is not the first time hallzerk has missed a tournament. He may be able to join the lineup later, but that will be possible only if Complexity advances to Stage 2.
Junior previously played for Nouns and did not have major achievements at the tier-1 level. Over the past six months, his rating has been 6.6, while hallzerk showed a 6.5, but with better stats in open frags and assists.
On June 3rd, Complexity will play their first match at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. They will face OG, with the match starting at 17:00 CEST. The match will be in a BO1 format. You can follow the news, schedule, and progress of the tournament through this link.
