Today on his official Instagram account, Ukrainian sniper Danylo "headtr1ck" Valitov announced his departure from the Swedish organization Ninjas in Pyjamas.
He was with the team for just over a year but failed to achieve noteworthy results due to the constant changes in the lineup and endless substitutions. To be fair, Danya did not deliver a performance worthy of the tier-1 scene.
There are suspicions that Danya had been contemplating leaving for some time, but the RMR, where the ninjas took the last place with a 0:3 score, put a definitive end to this question. Over the year with NiP, Danya and his team participated in 27 tournaments, including both tier-2 and tier-1 championships.
However, the highlight was the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2023, where NiP finished in 1-3rd place.
The team earned $144,000 in prize money during this time. Here's the sniper's statistics for the last year.
Here's how headtr1ck commented on his departure:
Today, I am open to new opportunities as NIP has decided to make changes. It was a crazy year full of ups and downs, and I want to thank NIP as a club for their care and the opportunity to gain experience as a player and as a person.
I am looking forward to what lies ahead and want to thank you once again for your support, which makes me happy and means a lot.
headtr1ck will be considering offers from Central and Eastern Europe. We all know how promising this sniper is. However, he just needed a stable, strong lineup, which, hopefully, he will have very soon.
