Officially: gla1ve and kuben Join ENCE

Esports club ENCE has announced the signing of contracts with Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander and Jakub "kuben" Gurczynski. The announcement was made on the organization's social networks.

gla1ve has been inactive since June 2023, when he was transferred to the Astralis reserve. Meanwhile, kuben left his coaching position at Apeks in September. The club's statement notes that the duo of the experienced captain and coach could help them reach a new level. They replaced Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer and Eetu "sAw" Saha in ENCE.

Comments from the Newcomers

Rossander expressed his excitement about the new opportunities in the professional scene and his great interest in the ENCE project.

It's an incredible opportunity for me, and I feel very blessed to be on a team with so many amazing players. I have a lot of excitement going into this project as it's a completely new environment for me, but also because we have so much stuff to dive into with Counter-Strike 2. I know what this team is capable of, and I love that I'm a part of that now!

kuben is also happy to join the new team.

I felt nothing but pure joy of happiness when I heard ENCE was interested in signing me. I was talking with ENCE three years ago and came close to becoming a coach during COVID. Eventually, the impression I left back then could have been the key to joining ENCE now. I have worked hard in international teams for the last few years to finally get back to the level I belong to. I’ll do everything in my hands to help these guys succeed.

The first tournament for the updated ENCE roster will be Elisa Masters Espoo 2023. The competition will take place in Finland from November 29 to December 3. Eight teams will compete for a prize pool of $200,000.
