Nitr0: "YEKINDAR completely took over the role of Liquid captain from me"

Team Liquid’s player Nick nitr0 Cannella said that due to his early departure from the team, he completely transferred the captain's duties to Marek YEKINDAR Galinskis. In a post-match interview at IEM Dallas 2023, he also shared his plans for the future.

YEKINDAR completely took over the role of Liquid captain from me. In this regard, I now play a secondary role and help if he needs it. It's strange because I was the captain all the time. When you don't act like IGL, the game seems strange. I took the role of YEKINDAR and acted more like a lurker.

Nitr0 also clarified his statement about leaving Counter-Strike and discussed his plans for the near future.

I'm leaving Counter-Strike but leaving the opportunity for other games and stuff. If I get an offer, I'll consider it, but I will just hold off for now. I will not actively look for another team in Counter-Strike, because it is not attractive to me now.
