nitr0 Leaves Active M80 VALORANT Roster, Back in CS?

Nick "nitr0" Cannella has stepped back from the active roster of M80's VALORANT team, the organization confirmed today. The veteran player, who notably led  Liquid Counter-Strike squad from January 2015 through August 2020, remains with M80 but will not compete.

nitr0's career in esports has been marked by significant transitions between top-tier games. After his initial stint with Liquid in CS, where he captained the team to prestigious wins such as Intel Extreme Masters XIV - Chicago, BLAST Pro Series: Los Angeles 2019, and clinching the Intel Grand Slam Season 2 along with ESL Pro League Season 9 - Finals, he shifted to VALORANT in late 2020. His total earnings from CS stand impressively at $1,054,647. However, in January 2022, nitr0 made a high-profile return to Liquid's CS lineup, only to find himself benched by June 2023.

His career pattern has sparked discussions among fans and analysts about whether he might continue this trend by making a second comeback to CS. Given his history of successful transitions and significant achievements in esports, the community remains on alert for any signs of his potential return to the Counter-Strike scene.

As of now, his potential return to Counter-Strike or any other competitive avenue remains speculative, with fans eagerly awaiting his next move in the esports arena.
