NiP coach on headtr1ck: "He will be one of the strongest AWPers in the world"

Ninjas in Pyjamas coach Daniel djL Narancic commented on the successes of Daniil headtr1ck Valitov at the Tier-1 level. Narancic believes that the Ukrainian sniper has a bright future.

djL noted that Valitov demonstrates a high level of productivity and a desire to learn, and also easily responds to criticism. The NiP coach shared that the team is doing everything possible to make headtr1ck feel comfortable.

headtr1ck is like a sponge, he really wants to learn and I still think it is early days for him, he needs to fail and he needs to learn from his mistakes from the games he is playing. I think that in the future, he will be one of the strongest AWPers in the world. He is young, he grinds alot and it’s easy to talk to him about his mistakes. We’re still trying to make him as comfortable as possible.

Headtr1ck's statistics in tier-1 scene

Over the past three months, Ninjas in Pyjamas have played four highest level tournaments, playing 13 matches. At the time of publication, the team's win rate in the tier-1 scene is 38%.

For headtr1ck, who is playing for NiP for the first time at a full-fledged tier-1 level, he demonstrates a rather inconsistent performance. Valitov can show an incredible level of CS, but also completely fail a match. Over the past three months, the Ukrainian esports player has an average rating of 6, which is pretty good for a newcomer in the tier-1 scene. Various analysts have repeatedly noted headtr1ck's talent, but he needs time to realize his potential.
