Ninjas in Pyjamas plans to list on NASDAQ

NIP Group, which operates cybersports teams Ninjas in Pyjamas and eStar Gaming, has filed for an initial public offering on NASDAQ. The company hopes to raise up to $5 million by selling shares to the public. This is the first time NIP Group has raised funds in this way, following the lead of other cybersports organizations such as FaZe Clan, Astralis Group and Enthusiast Gaming Holdings Inc.

The group owns teams for popular games such as Counter-Strike 2, League of Legends, Rainbow Six: Siege and Honor of Kings. In addition, NIP Group manages an extensive network of talent in the cyber sports industry. The public offering provides unprecedented insight into the company's financial performance.

Based on the public declaration that NIP were required by law to disclose, it is clear that from 2022 to 2023, NIP Group's revenue grew from $65.8 million to $83.7 million. However, despite the increase in revenue, the company's net losses also increased from $6.2 million to $13.3 million. This emphasizes the complexity and riskiness of doing business in the fast-paced cybersports industry.

NIP Group plans to invest the raised funds in the development of its cyber sports teams, talent management, event production and brand marketing. In this way, the company hopes to strengthen its market position and continue its development despite the financial difficulties it is facing.
