Ninjas in Pyjamas failed to defeat GamerLegion and were eliminated from ESL Pro League Season 18

On September 2, the tournament called ESL Pro League Season 18 ended for Ninjas in Pyjamas. In its last match, the team failed to beat GamerLegion.

Why did we emphasize the date? It's simple, the tournament started only 4 days ago and will end on October 1st!

How was the match with GamerLegion?

Nothing special, a usual bo3 between similar teams in terms of level and style. But let's get into the details.

The first map of the confrontation was Ancient (the peak of the Ninjas in Pyjamas team), which they won with a score of 16:6.

Next was Overpass (the peak of the GamerLegion team). In fact, between these teams it is impossible to say exactly who is stronger. We can simply say that GamerLegion were luckier today on Overpass and won it with a score of 16:14.

And the last map of the confrontation was Inferno, which was won by GamerLegion with a score of 16:10!

The MVP award for the match went to Ninjas in Pyjamas riffler Fredrik "REZ " Sterner, and his average rating over the three maps was 6.9!

What's next?

For Ninjas in Pyjamas, this is the end. They are ranked 21-28 and go home with $8,000 per team.

But GamerLegion will have to play in the final of the last chance grid against the winner of Furia/Grayhound! The match will take place at 20:30 Kyiv on September 3rd.
