Today, Serbian rifler Nemanja "nexa" Isaković, who previously played for OG Esports, has returned to the German organization G2 Esports. This news was announced through the organization's official social media channels.
It was only earlier today that it was revealed nexa was leaving OG Esports, and within an hour, G2 announced his addition to their roster. It's worth mentioning that nexa had previously played for G2, and quite successfully, to be honest.
With nexa, G2 reached the finals of the PGL Major Stockholm 2021, but lost to Natus Vincere. However, it seems strange that there are now two captains in the team, namely Hooxi and nexa. Perhaps future changes are expected?
nexa's journey with OG Esports lasted nearly two years. Notably, his first tournament with OG was the BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022, which they won successfully, but this marked the end of their victories. During this time, he played in 35 championships.
In these 35 championships, he only managed to earn $318,000 in prize money for the team. It should be noted that during this time, the team also placed 1-3 at the BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022, but this cannot be considered a victory.
Here's how G2 Esports welcomed their new player:
"WELCOME BACK - nexa. With nexa returning to our active roster, jks will be moved to the bench while we find him a new team. We would like to thank Justin for everything he has contributed over the past year."
