Riot Games has released Patch 14.23, which introduces balance changes, new skins, and improvements to game mechanics. 

Balance Changes: Control and Items

Aurora, Smolder, and Rell have been reworked. Their control became less prolonged and annoying for opponents. At the same time, the heroes received buffs to maintain their relevance and make them easier to balance.

For marksmen relying on attack power, key items such as Ghostblade of Yomu, Yuntal's Wild Arrows, and The Collector have been changed. The main focus is on strengthening Wild Arrows, which have now become even more useful for crit-oriented champions.

New Approach to In-Game Behavior

With the update release, Riot is tightening measures against players who intentionally harm the team during champion selection, such as blackmailing allies or forcing them to leave the lobby. Such actions will now be penalized with temporary access bans. The company emphasizes that experimenting with unconventional strategies is not prohibited, but intentional sabotage will not go unpunished.

New Battle Pass and "Arcane" Skins

Patch 14.23 in League of Legends introduced a new battle pass, offering players the opportunity to earn exclusive rewards, including orbs, emotes, and other cosmetic elements. The battle pass includes missions aimed at both competitive spirit enthusiasts and those who simply enjoy the game.

The skin Underground Scientist Singed from "Arcane" can be obtained by completing a mini-game in League of Legends in honor of Arcane's second season "Jinx Fixes Everything", which is also divided into 3 acts like the series itself. 2 acts are already available, but the 3rd is still unavailable and will become accessible after the release of the series' final 3rd act on November 26th.

  

Other Innovations

• Login via Riot Mobile: you can now authenticate by scanning a QR code in the app.
• Bounty and Object Rewards: The dynamics of their accrual have been enhanced to make the system more balanced.
