After patch 7.03 was released to the test server, which you can read about in our article. Datamineers have found a lot of material in the game's files that hints at a new mode and an updated group system.
Updated Party System
Dataminer KOHTEIHEP posted on his Twitter page information about new icons he found in the game files, which may be used for updating the party system. Specifically, these icons suggest easy joining of parties using links, similar to how it's implemented in the game Dota 2.
A New Mode?
Another find by KOHTEIHEP points to code lines introducing new functionality in the game:
- Choose a respawn point
- Reset health and armor
- Remove respawn point
This functionality might be used in a new mode or added to the “Custom Game” mode.
First Season of "Premier"
Within the game files, there were code lines mentioning the inaugural season of the "Premier" tournament, set to commence in Act 2 of Episode 7.
Map Descriptions
The game will soon be enriched with descriptions for every full-fledged map. It's still unclear how this will be implemented. Possible options include adding descriptions during map loading or updating the interface in the main menu, where players can read about each map and determine if it's available in the ranked mode.
Other
New free agent icon. Every player at the beginning of the game receives a choice of any agent. The developers have decided to add a new icon to the game files, which might soon appear in the game.
