Today, Valve released a small Counter-Strike 2 update aimed at bug fixes and map improvements. The update size is 420 MB and it brings several enhancements to gameplay and visuals.

Map Changes

Various visual errors on Train, such as environment gaps, have been fixed. Dirt and moisture elements have also been added to the surfaces of crates and tarps, enhancing the map's realism. Gameplay changes include:

  • The gap between Hell and Tunnels on bombsite A has been widened,
  • The container near Ivy now has an open door
  • Addition of dirt and moisture to crates and tarp where necessary

Collision issues on the stairs under the balcony on Inferno have been resolved, improving player movement.

  • An issue with the pistol holster hanging in the first-person model's legs has been addressed.
  • A bug involving grenade and ragdoll interaction has been fixed.
