Guy "NertZ" Iluz, Heroic's Israeli star, has expressed unwavering confidence in his team's trajectory towards becoming one of the world's leading CS2 teams. Following a challenging but ultimately successful campaign at the European RMR, where Heroic secured their spot in the PGL Major Copenhagen with a 3-2 record, NertZ shared his insights and aspirations.
Reflecting on the team's performance, NertZ remarked:
Not really. I want to win against these teams consistently, but I'm happy we are improving from game to game.
The journey to the Major has been a mix of determination and adaptation for NertZ, who noted:
It's [tough] for everyone, but for me, it's not tough anymore. I understand what my responsibilities are...
Looking ahead, NertZ set his sights high for the Major:
I didn't think about it yet... But if I can think right now, very fast, I would say the playoffs. For me, it would be an insane achievement.
Heroic's ambitious goals reflect not only their potential but also their commitment to excellence in the competitive CS2 scene.
