NAVI confidently defeats the Falcons and advances to the Winner's Match

NAVI defeated Falcons in their opening match, putting their opponents on the brink of elimination from the tournament. The team is now well on their way to the BLAST Premier Fall Finals playoffs, while the Falcons remain one step away from defeat.

This clash was particularly important as it was the opening round of the major tournament in Copenhagen. Both teams entered the arena after their captains missed a media day in protest of the rushed br0 replacement in the Astralis lineup.

Game progress

The first map, Anubis, started on equal footing, with NAVI holding a slight 7:5 advantage at the break. However, after switching sides, Falcons failed to take a single round on the T-side and the game ended 13-5 in favor of NAVI.

The second map, Ancient, also started under the dictation of NAVI. Despite this, the Falcons rallied and won seven rounds before changing sides, creating intrigue and giving hope for a decisive third map. But NAVI, led by captain Aleksib managed to stop the opponent's spurt and closed the series with a score of 13:10, ending the match 2-0.

MVP of this match was b1t with his high rating of 7.6, but it should be noted that w0nderful and jL were not far behind b1t in rating, they have 7.3 and 7.2 rating respectively, with equal number of kills in the match.
