Astralis just experienced their first defeat in the Flashpoint 3 upper bracket. Mousesports, led by Cristopher “dexter” Nong, managed to beat the Danes with 2-0, advancing in the upper brackets as a result.
Before winning against Astralis, Mousesports had already beaten BIG and Fnatic, and after their latest victory, they are now waiting to see who wins between G2 and NIP. Dexter is looking forward to playing against Nikola “NiKo” Kovac once again. “I’d like to play G2 again, I actually love playing them, there’s always mind games going on,” Dexter declared.
Although the match started with Astralis being in the lead on Nuke, the second half was taken over by Mousesports. Astralis, however, took over by striking back once they took care of their CT-side economy. Later, even though they lost the pistol round, Mousesports pushed harder until they won, which allowed them to advance through the Flashpoint 3 upper bracket.
