Monte reported on its Telegram channel that the team received permission to leave the country and crossed the Ukrainian border in full force. This allows the Ukrainian organization to compete at Intel Extreme Masters Sydney 2023.

It is reported that Sergiy "DemQQ" Demchenko, Volodymyr "Woro2k" Veletniuk, and Monte coach Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov were the first to receive the permit. These three, along with foreign players, have already arrived in Australia, while Viktor "sdy" Orudjev received permission to cross the border only today and will spend about 40 hours to get to the venue.

We would like to remind you that IEM Sydney 2023 will be held from October 16 to 22, with a prize pool of $250,000, and the winner of the tournament will receive $100,000 and a slot at IEM Katowice 2024. Besides, this event is included in Intel Grand Slam Season 5. Currently, Vitality, ENCE, G2, and MOUZ are participating in the race for $1,000,000 in gold bullion. All of them have one victory and will participate in IEM Sydney 2023.
