Monte advanced to the Legends stage of the Major by winning over PaiN

Ukrainian club Monte has qualified for the next stage of the BLAST.tv Major in Paris, defeating PaiN in a match for one of the last slots in the "Legends" stage.

The beginning of the best-of-three series for the team led by captain Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev proved to be quite challenging - the Brazilians ended Monte's winning streak on Anubis after 15 maps, but in the map pick of PaiN, the Ukrainian team simply punished their opponents with a score of 16-1. The decisive Mirage also started with a series of rounds given away, but the team managed to regroup mentally and win with a score of 16-10.

Undoubtedly, the MVP of this best-of-three was sdy, whose statistics stood at 63 kills and 36 deaths. The only player who could match him on the server was biguzera with 63 kills and 52 deaths.

Detailed statistics are available on the match page.
