The head of the esports organization Monte, Dmitro Vovk, shared the high goals of the club for 2024. Among the main objectives are to win a tier-1 tournament, provide the MVP award to one of the players, reach the main stage of both majors and show good results there, and get two players of the club into the top-20.
For the organization, which managed to retain its successful lineup from last year, achieving such goals would be a significant step forward. Last year, the club had in its achievements making it to the playoffs of a major, the semifinals of ESL Pro League Season 18, and a victory at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Winter 2023. These successes secured Monte guaranteed spots in important upcoming tournaments, including PGL Major Copenhagen 2024: European RMR B, IEM Katowice 2024, IEM Chengdu 2024, and ESL Pro League Season 19.
The club's goals for 2024 also include the development of Monte Gen, the academic lineup of the organization, which has already shown good results, winning United21 Season 8: Division 2 and taking second place in United21 Season 10.
Last season, Victor "sdy" Orudzhev received the MVP for ESL Challenger at DreamHack Winter 2023 and was close
to breaking into the top-20 best players of the past year. Such success gives confidence in the possibility of achieving the planned goals.
Monte also has big ambitions in Dota2, where it plans to break into LAN tournaments and establish itself among the best. In addition, the club seeks to expand its influence by signing lineups in new disciplines and gaining the status of a club representing Ukraine at an official level.
