Monte secured their spot in the RES Regional Series 4 Europe playoffs by beating BLEED 2-0. Mirage, Monte's selection started off tense with the first half of the game ending 6:6, followed by another tense second half which Monte won 7:5, bringing the final score to 13:11 in Monte's favor.
BLEED picked Anubis and the first half of the game again ended in a 6:6 draw. BLEED dominated at first, leading 6:0, but Monte managed to pull off an impressive comeback. The second half repeated the first half, ending 6-6, which led to the match going into overtime. In overtime, Monte prevailed with a score of 16-13.
Monte coach commented on the team's performance:
In short, everything is very crooked, but it looks better every day, the level of opponents is very far from what will be in Dallas, but there is no Internet) On the data happens all sorts of things.... We need to see more Nuke and Ancient in our classic prakas on the official sites :). But so far it's working out pretty well.
Monte's performance after the renewal of their lineup demonstrates their potential and strength. Their next match will be against Sashi in the semifinals of the Elisa Invitational Spring 2024.
