Metizport and Fluxo were the first to leave BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 1

BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 1 hosted decisive matches between teams that were down 0-2 and fighting to stay in the tournament. In one match, Imperial defeated Metizport 2-0, giving themselves a chance to continue fighting. At the same time, in another match, Chinggis Warriors faced off against Fluxo. These matches were decisive for both teams: the winner would continue in the Major, while the loser would be the first to leave the tournament.

The match determined which team would continue to fight for a place in the next stage of the Major and which would leave the tournament with a score of 0-3. The first map, Nuke, chosen by Metizport, ended in a fierce battle with Imperial winning 16:13. The second map, Dust2, chosen by Imperial, was a landslide victory for the Brazilians, who won 13:2. This victory gave Imperial another chance to advance to Stage 2.

The key moment came when Santino 'try' Rigal and Vinicius 'VINI' Figueiredo showed impressive results of 45/21 and 31/27 respectively, with both players having an ADR of over 82.

Chinggis Warriors 2:1 Fluxo

Fluxo started strong with a 13:10 win on Ancient, but then lost their own pick Mirage (11:13) and were completely destroyed on the decider map Nuke — 2:13. Chinggis Warriors showed solid gameplay, starting with a comeback on Mirage and finishing with dominance on Nuke. Unudelger "controlez" Baasanjargal stood out with 60 kills and 45 deaths, but both cool4st and ROUX also delivered strong performances.
