On November 15, several independent media outlets started publishing information about the likelihood of former players from the Danish organization Heroic nearing a deal to sign with Astralis. Specifically, this refers to Martin "stavn⁠" Lund and Jakob "jabbi⁠" Nygaard.

Previously, according to the organization's statement, stavn and jabbi had set a condition: they agreed to extend their contracts, which were set to expire in ten months, only if Casper "cadiaN" Møller would leave the team. Heroic agreed to this compromise, but the players expressed a desire to join Astralis after their contracts expired.

Media sources close to both teams report that Astralis is in the final stages of negotiations to purchase Martin "stavn" Lund and "jabbi" from Heroic.

This significant agreement is set to conclude after several weeks of intense negotiations, which were complicated by the tension between Astralis and Heroic.

It is not yet clear whom they would replace in Astralis.

The two players, who are soon to leave the team, will participate in their last tournament next week in Copenhagen at the BLAST Premier Fall Final - in their hometown. This will happen regardless of whether the newcomers manage to join Astralis by that time.

BLAST rules are quite strict: roster changes are not allowed after a certain deadline, except in cases of extraordinary circumstances. Astralis has already announced its current team, where Mikkel "MistR" Thomsen will be the substitute player, making the completion of the term even more complicated.
