Media: Fnatic in talks for the transfer of Slovak star

Fnatic have started the negotiation process with the Czech organization Sampi regarding the transfer of Slovak player Matus "MATYS" Simko. Earlier, several other well-known clubs were interested in him, but they were deterred by the buyout sum for the Slovak.

MATYS could become part of the new Fnatic lineup for four million crowns or about 170,000 euros. This price deterred teams such as MonteOG, and TSM, who, according to sources at playzone, were previously interested in the player.

21-year-old MATYS has been playing for Sampi for one and a half years, and before that, nearly a year for ENTERPRISE. The Slovak mainly participates in local LAN tournaments or low-tier online events, which in total have earned him over $18,000 in prize money. At his level, he stands out for his individual performance: in the last six months, he has achieved a rating of 6.8, 0.84 KPR, and 90.52 ADR.

In the last few weeks, Fredrik "roeJ" Røj Christensen and William “mezii” Merriman have left the Fnatic lineup. In addition, there are rumors of two more players leaving. However, it was previously reported that the British organization is assembling a Swedish lineup, which does not align with the potential transfer of MATYS.
