In CS2, matchmaking and the "Premier" mode have been changed

On the night of October 11th, developers released a patch for Counter-Strike 2, in which they made changes to the matchmaking system and the "Premier" mode. This information was posted on the official CS2 website.

Matchmaking

  • Due to an increase in match waiting times, matches will now have a smaller rating difference between teams.

"Premier" Mode

  • Matches for ranking up and down will only take place at color rating boundaries, meaning every 5000 points.
  • Possible point gains and losses have been increased to help players move up or down the ranking faster after calibration.

Earlier, developers released a patch for CS2, which addressed hitbox alignment and several other bugs. You can learn more about the update by following the link.
