On the night of October 11th, developers released a patch for Counter-Strike 2, in which they made changes to the matchmaking system and the "Premier" mode. This information was posted on the official CS2 website.
Matchmaking
- Due to an increase in match waiting times, matches will now have a smaller rating difference between teams.
"Premier" Mode
- Matches for ranking up and down will only take place at color rating boundaries, meaning every 5000 points.
- Possible point gains and losses have been increased to help players move up or down the ranking faster after calibration.
