Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa new player of G2 Esports gave an interview to HLTV portal, where he talked about the path to G2, the transition from North American teams to the top team, about copying the game donk and more.
Coming from a country not known for its cyber athletes, learning new languages and becoming a professional, this opportunity justifies all the effort

MalbsMd admitted that his path was more difficult than it could have been. He went through the Brazilian scene because of limited opportunities in North America. He had to learn Portuguese and adapt to different roles.
My path could have been easier, but I'm grateful for this journey. It has helped me grow as a person and a player
When CS2 first came out, he wanted to be the best out there and he started watching donk games to realize what he was doing differently. He realized how he moved and realized when and what to do. And started playing like him, after that he started destroying everyone.
Everything is great. I thought it was going to be tougher, but they trust me. It was a very good experience
Also an interesting moment happened, Mario's father cried when he found out that his son was invited to G2 and he managed to talk to Taz. He also added that he made it to his first professional game after playing in the FPL where he was called for a test by TeamOne players.
Before his vacation, he told M80 that he would not be leaving M80, but as he said "invitations from G2 don't come every day." Also he could end his career in 2023 because he had no invitations to teams. He is not afraid of the pressure from the public, because he previously played in Brazilian teams and "Brazilian fans are very tough".
My future with G2 looks bright
The first tournament for the new G2 squad will be the Esports World Cup 2024, which will be held in Riyadh. Where they will play in the first match against The MongolZ, who they have already played against in CS2, where they managed to win 2-0 at ESL Pro League Season 19. At which The MongolZ sensationally managed to make the playoffs.
