M4A4 Began to Be Used Twice As Often After the M4A1-S's Nerf

The popularity of the M4A4 has doubled after the last CS:GO patch, which reduced the long-range damage of the M4A1-S. This information was shared by the Scope.gg portal.

Before the update, half of CS:GO fans played on the defensive side with the M4A1-S. Only 10% of users preferred the M4A4. After the patch, the frequency of using a rifle without a silencer increased from 7-8% to 15-18%.
