CS2 update brings changes to economy and gameplay

The latest update for Counter-Strike 2 has introduced significant changes aimed at balancing the game and improving gameplay. The most noticeable changes include adjustments to weapon costs and grenade parameters, as well as updates to several maps.

Economic changes:

The cost of the M4A4 has been reduced from $3100 to $3000, which should make this weapon more affordable for Counter Terrorism (CT) teams. The monetary reward for a planted but defused bomb for a terrorist team (T) has been reduced from $800 to $600, which reduces the impact of the first round on subsequent rounds. The cost of an incendiary grenade has been reduced from $600 to $500.

Changes in grenades:

The incendiary grenade received a new visual treatment of the explosion and fire. The duration and area of flame spread have been reduced.

Map updates:

A new bridge has been added to the Vertigo map near Bombsite A, connecting it to the rear of A. Removed the connection between the rear part of A and the lifts. Changed the map configuration for Wingman mode to include the changes to Bombsite A.

Other updates:

Added the ability to rent the entire Kilowatt collection for a week instead of getting one item from a case. Improvements to demo playback, including the display of kill and death indicators. Several new animations for chickens that can now walk on slopes.

This update is aimed at providing a better balance of the game and increasing the players' enjoyment of the process. The developers hope that the changes will contribute to a more dynamic and exciting gameplay.
