Kyojin enters free agency

After the reshuffle, Vitality had one benched player left. Today they announced the termination of the contract with him.

Vitality reported that Jayson "⁠Kyojin⁠" Nguyen Van entered free agency. Young French rifler joined the team in April 2021 when Cédric "⁠RpK⁠" Guipouy decided to finish his career.

He wasn’t able to show a decent level of performance but started to adapt in September just before PGL Major Stockholm 2021. However, Vitality took 5-8th, and it wasn’t the result team desired. The peak of Kyojin’s performance came at IEM Winter 2021, which Vitality won, and it is the only trophy Young Frenchman achieved with the team.

At the beginning of 2022, Kyojin was benched as Vitality added an ex-Astralis trio, and there was no space for him. And today, Vitality and Kyojin agreed on terminating the contract.

However, the French rifler has already found a team to perform. Kyojin joined the Akimbo squad, who are currently taking part in ESL Challenger League Season 40.
