After losing to Vitality in the BLAST Premier: Spring Final 2024, which became their last tournament of the season, FaZe team captain Finn "karrigan" Andersen shared his emotions about this tournament and the season as a whole on his Twitter:
I love my team and will do everything I can to help everyone achieve the deserved trophies next season. We can do it, and I take great responsibility for our failures. If anyone is to blame, it's only me, not others. We will come back, and if not, it will be only me.
To which s1mple responded humorously:
Mr. Finn, they will remove the dizziness one day, all you need is the best d2, now only my boy Håvard 'rain' Nygaard is destroying on this map. I still remember his game on D2 when he started 18-0, if I'm not mistaken. His Norwegian blood will always shine, Skol!
s1mple also shared his advice, as always, on how the team can win on the updated Dust 2:
Everyone who wants to win on Dust 2 - take the long, let s1mple take the pit and throw some smokes to pass, I will kill the site (don't forget they have grenades that can disperse the smoke). The lurker should stay on top mid (on the left side) and hold the box. Better to have a Logitech Pink headset so he can hear the players behind, coming through the terrorist spawn.
Currently, the FaZe roster has a 0% win rate on the updated Dust 2, which could become a problem for them in the future. Now the team will have about a month off, so they will have time to return with a prepared map.
