karrigan: "It's really cool that I have the chance to win a trophy in CS2"

In the interview with HLTV, FaZe player Finn "karrigan" Andersen commented on his transition to Counter-Strike 2 and the opportunity to win a trophy in the new game.

The captain said that he is very happy to have the opportunity to win a trophy in the new game. He and the team are doing their best to develop as fast as possible. Karrigan also noted that he had to spend a lot of time to understand how the game works.

It's funny, I played three different Counter-Strikes now and in all of them, I've been the IGL. Coming into CS2, it's pretty awesome I have the chance to grab a trophy here and there, we're doing our best to evolve as fast as possible and you never know what's going to happen, right?I know I need to spend a lot of time to understand the mechanics but also in theory to help my team achieve the best results so right now, it's going in the right direction. I want to win a trophy so badly so that I have won different trophies in three different games. It would just be amazing to add to my career.

The Dane can get his first trophy in CS2 the day after tomorrow, at IEM Sydney 2023. To do this, he needs to beat MOUZ and the best of the G2 — Complexity pair. If FaZe wins the tournament, they will receive a slot at IEM Katowice 2024 in addition to $100,000.
