According to jL, he doesn't feel the need to buy a car as he finds an electric scooter sufficient for his needs. He purchases watches "in memory" of significant events, allowing him to mentally revisit those moments whenever he looks at his collection. Plus, as he puts it, "a watch is always a good investment."
